Ffotogallery is committed to protecting your privacy.

From 25 May 2018, a new EU regulation, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into force. This has been designed to update the existing Data Protection Directive.

What does this mean for you?

The information that you have supplied will be used by Ffotogallery to keep you up to date with news, exhibitions, events and opportunities, based on your preferences. Unless otherwise disclosed, Ffotogallery will not share your details with any other company or institution without your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time, and all data will be held securely by Ffotogallery.

What Information do we collect about you?

We collect your name and email address when you subscribe to our mailing list or make contact with us.

We collect further information when you enrol on a Ffotogallery course, voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to process any orders you have made, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about other exhibitions, events and programmes we think may be of interest to you.

Ffotogallery Wales will not share your information with anybody outside of the organisation.*

*Ffotogallery Course Students

If you have enrolled on a Ffotogallery Course, the information you provide on your enrolment form will be shared with our teaching staff and our accrediting body, Cardiff Metropolitan University if you choose to submit your work for accreditation. Their policy applies to your information in this instance.

Retention

We will not retain personal information longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed, including the security of our processing complying with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. audit, accounting and statutory retention terms), handling disputes and programming.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about exhibitions, events of ours and other related organisations which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.

Access to your Information and Correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the following address. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
